In November 2009, we gave away a Vidly Flip MinoHD every Friday for five consecutive Fridays.
Give a warm congratulations to our five winners:

We had a great time running the contest. We also learned that there are thousands of people who use Twitter solely to participate in #hashtag contests, and their tweet streams contain nothing but various contest entries. So, our next contest will be run a little differently.
Next contest, you say?!
Yep! First thing next year we are going to launch a much bigger contest with many more sweet giveaways. Although this time around, it's going to be a little more fun and take a little more work than a simple tweet, any guesses?

We're excited and proud to announce that Vidly is the first Twitter video service to support full 720p HD video.
Traditionally, video on Twitter has been low quality UGC. We want to encourage sharing of high quality content to see Twitter become a real promotional channel for filmmakers, large or small. Twitter's promotional potential is not fully realized, imagine movie trailers and music videos from original content creators. To celebrate the launch, in partnership with Pure Digital, we're running a contest called "Flip Fridays" where we're giving away Vidly branded Flip MinoHDs every Friday to get everyone in the HD spirit. Flip was kind enough to sponsor the contest to help promote HD on Twitter. Here's an HD video of iJustine announcing our HD release and explaining the contest! - Chrys & DanComments [20]

Hey everyone,
We just brought over one of the most popular features from Fliggo: Importing videos from YouTube, Blip, and now TwitVid. If you want to bring over your favorite videos from your other accounts to your Twitter video library, now you can! You can find the new "Import" tab on the homepage as of right now. Here's a quick preview of how it looks:
Enjoy!

Hey guys,
We released the blog widget a while back and we never gave you a way to get the code. That was my fault, and I apologize! Now, you can get the blog widget code by logging in to Vidly and going to your profile page.
Let us know if you have any issues, we're happy to help! P.S. You can now also delete videos from your profile page.

Vidly folk,
If you haven't already seen, we have made some minor changes to the homepage to simplify the uploading process. We'd love to hear your feedback on the changes.
As you can see we shifted some things around. You can now record a new video directly from the homepage instead of going to another tab. We also made updates to the webcam software so you can more easily choose your webcam and quality settings. We'd love to hear any feedback you have regarding these changes. Let us know if you have any issues!
