Vidly Flip contest has come to an end!

In November 2009, we gave away a Vidly Flip MinoHD every Friday for five consecutive Fridays.

Give a warm congratulations to our five winners:

We had a great time running the contest. We also learned that there are thousands of people who use Twitter solely to participate in #hashtag contests, and their tweet streams contain nothing but various contest entries. So, our next contest will be run a little differently.

Next contest, you say?!

Yep! First thing next year we are going to launch a much bigger contest with many more sweet giveaways. Although this time around, it's going to be a little more fun and take a little more work than a simple tweet, any guesses?

- Happy Holidays from the Vidly team!

Now see, if you have to make a video to enter youll have less entries. Lots of people dont have them.

keep it a twitter contest. Especially if the prize is a video camera. If people had one they wouldnt enter to win one and those who want one dont have one to make a video.

Its so frustrating when the prize is a camera and you have to enter a pic. Doesnt make sense. Same eith video cam.

If you have a camera you wouldnt enter to win one. If you have a video camera you wouldnt enter to win one. Keep it twitter contest only.

if you have a videocamera you would still enter the contest, if you want a better one. Also, it's not that absurd, at least there's some merit for people who win. there won't be a randomly chosen twitter with basis on using a hashtag.
